This post may or may not have been in my drafts and I forgot to press send oops. This past July I took a trip to Costa Rica with my sisters. It was a perfect choice since it was everyone’s first time in Costa RicaPlease.

Things To Know- You don’t need a Covid test entering Costa Rica but you will need a negative Covid test within 48 hours of leaving and you must buy travel insurance. I recommend purchasing it at least 24hrs before departure just incase your confirmation email doesn’t come in within 15mins.. I thought I had time to buy it since I had a layover in Houston NO you cannot board your plane without it.

Getting Around- I hired a private driver in some parts you can take an Uber around taxi, some hotels have shuttles to even pick you up and drop you off at the airport.

Where We Stayed - My oldest sister wanted a relaxing vacation so we decided to stay at an all inclusive resort that had everything in distance and at the resort. Azura all inclusive resorts.

Located in Samara which is about almost 2 hours away from the airport it’s an adults only hotel.

The beach right steps away from the property they offer several different bedroom types from junior suites with a pool two double bedrooms they have five different restaurants availability depends on the night they have everything from Italian to Japanese to American and all the snacks at the bar gosh I’m craving those nachos. Things to do

There are a variety of activities to do from horseback riding, to kayaking, Water Rafting, I really wanted to visit the sloth sanctuary but it wasn't really planned since this was more of a go with a flow type of vacation. It’s been a goal of mine to try surfing and finally got a chance to take my first surfing lesson. I had a blast, I took lessons at Patos Surfing School it”s about a mile walk from Azura Resorts the water in Costa Rica is so warm it was the perfect place to learn surf.

Unfortunately their is no nightlife but their are some restaurants and bars and in downtown Samara plenty of shops for merchandise. If you have any further questions I didn't answer feel free to reach out to me.

I saved my driver’s contact so if you're heading to that part of Costa Rica let me know!
