Black-Owned Restaurants in Tokyo

It is currently Black History Month, and I have recently returned from Japan. I visited visit some of the restaurants that have been on my bucket list for some time and  I wanted to highlight some of these restaurants so whether you may not have tried them before or you have may have an even though I’m pretty well traveled and enjoy trying new foods in the countries I’ve never visited eating foods from home or you’re familiar with still matters.

Soul Food House: This family-owned gem serves up some soul food. From hearty meat dishes to vegan plates, there's something for everyone to try.

Kyle's Good Finds: Satisfy your sweet tooth with American-style cakes, pies, muffins, cookies, bagels and more.

Hardings CTK: If you love Caribbean food, check them out. The jerk chicken and Jamaican patties are a must-try!

  • Calabash: Have you ever tried Senegalese and Ivorian-inspired cuisine? Here’shere's your chance to get a taste of West Africa.

  • Queen Sheba: If you’ve never tried Ethiopian cuisine, this is your chance to try Injera and flavorful stews. Don't miss their lively Friday night live music!

  • Addis Restaurant: here’s another open restaurant that I highly recommend making a reservation for as it gets booked up.

Have you been to any of these restaraunts yet? If you know a restaraunt in Tokyo I should try feel free to comment below.
