As part of my participation in the Disney Creators Lab, Disney hosted me and fellow creators onboard the Disney Wish cruise as a celebration. I embarked on a three-day excursion from Orlando, Florida, to Nassau, Bahamas, on the Disney Wish cruise line. I was so excited because it was my first time in the Bahamas, and on a cruise, I didn't know what to expect.

The Disney Navigator App

From managing pre-boarding documents to reserving in-room amenities and booking excursions, the app streamlined the pre-cruise process, allowing me to upload vital documents and breeze through check-in hassle-free. Whatever you do just don’t forget your physical passport.

What to Expect Upon Arrival

The moment I stepped onto the ship, the crew greeted me with cheers and applause—a heartwarming welcome that made me feel like a celeb. While my luggage made its way to my stateroom, I recommend wearing a bathing suit on board and packing anything you might need for a few hours in your carry-on. You can’t immediately access your room, so don’t bring too much you don’t want to carry around.

My room - I had a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. The balcony view is just stunning.
Dining

Unfortunately, my plus one on the trip was a picky eater, and I didn’t know many other people. I didn’t feel comfortable going into the main dining room alone, so I spent more time at the buffets, which were so delicious. I couldn't get enough variety, especially the breakfast/brunch food and the pizza.

Dinsey Merch- Whether you're looking for a souvenir to remember your vacation or a special gift for someone special, there's likely something to suit every taste and budget. Whether you want Exclusive Cruise Line Merchandise, They even have Disney-themed fine Jewelry, toys, and Apparel.

Adult Only

While Disney cruises are renowned for their family-friendly atmosphere, I appreciated the adult-only spaces, including a stunning pool deck Adult only. As far as activities, there was karaoke, trivia, and a few other activities, but I did wish there were way more activities for adults only.

Character Meets

Meeting Disney characters throughout the sail was a highlight for many; it’s easy to know when and where they'll be by checking the Disney Navigator App's schedule updates.

Despite missing out on a visit to Castaway Cay due to the rocky seas, safety is most important. Nevertheless, I am still grateful for the experience and opportunity. This was also my first time with motion sickness. Thankfully, I never puked; I just felt the sickness, so stock up on any medication you may need. You can also go to the concierge, and they can help out.

Have you ever been on a Disney Cruise before? Let me know your experience.
